National Lampoon’s Presents Final Edition Radio Hour
About the Show
The Final Edition
The Final Edition is a ferociously disrespectful, writer-driven 360-degree satire hub founded in 2011, producing syndicated radio, video and web content galore.
The Final Edition Radio Hour is a weekly broadcast continuing the smart, funny, nothing-is-sacred satire of National Lampoon. Tony Hendra and his production partner Jeff Kreisler are thrilled to be associated with the revitalized National Lampoon, continuing the legacy of the magazine that first gave the world so much drunk, brilliant, dead stoned satire.
The Final Edition Radio Hour is led by Tony Hendra, an original editor of National Lampoon, discoverer of John Belushi and Chevy Chase, star of This Is Spinal Tap, co-creator of UK satirical series Spitting Image, Editor-In-Chief of Spy Magazine, co-author of George Carlin’s posthumous memoir Last Words and prominently featured in the just released Sundance- and Tribeca-acclaimed documentary Drunk Stoned Brilliant Dead: The Story of the National Lampoon.
Jeff Kreisler, Hendra’s partner and co-creator and co-host of The Final Edition Radio Hour, is an on-air pundit (MSNBC, CNN, FoxNews, Showbiz Tonight, Current, Sirius/XM, etc.), winner of Bill Hicks Spirit Award for Thought Provoking Comedy, bestselling author of “Get Rich Cheating,” TED talker, writer for Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm, Princeton grad and former – though not yet disbarred – attorney. The New York Times says he’s “delectable,” The Chicago Tribune calls him “hilarious,” and his toddler thinks he’s “weird.”
